Marble Botanics is owned and operated by Joseph Reynolds. Joseph started Marble Botanics when he lived on Marble Street in Raleigh where he grew and sold black walnut tolerant perennials to wholesale nurseries and garden retailers in the backyard there. In November of 2019 we officially formed as an LLC and sought to retail plants online and offer interior plant services to local businesses in the triangle. In February of 2020 Joseph left his corporate job and went full time in pursuit of growing Marble Botanics. Almost immediately after, the COVID pandemic struck and the idea of offering interior plant services to primarily restaurants, hotels and office buildings was clearly off the table. Joseph quickly pivoted to offering his horticultural skill and knowledge towards clients in need of residential landscaping. We met with an explosive demand and residential landscaping and garden management has become the core of Marble Botanics’s services. Through the steady recognition of standard practices in landscaping that have obvious harmful effects on local ecology and the general health of the land, Marble Botanics quickly became a leader in eco-friendly focused landscape practices.
